The evening started on a high and ended with even more excitement for the coming shows in She Called Me Mother's tour. Cathy, Michelle and Cara met with the Trinidad and Tobago association (pictured below) and spoke with other members of the audience about the show. What a spectacular send off for She Called Me Mother's cast and crew to take Michelle's debut play around the country!
The thought-provoking and positive nature of the first workshop day was maintained throughout the week and this nature wasn't lacking in the last day of the week long workshop. Pitch Lake Productions’ co-founders Cathy Tyson, Michelle Inniss, and Cara Nolan said goodbye to dramaturg Trish Cooke and actress Jen Daley but their impact is felt on the play as the whole group’s discussion and exploration of the script has begun to bring Shirley’s character to life. The three co-founders of Pitch Lake Productions; Cathy Tyson, Michelle Inniss and Cara Nolan, met with writer Trish Cooke and actress Jen Daley at Clean Break in Kentish Town. They kick-started a week long dramaturgy workshop for She Called Me Mother. The day was positive and thought-provoking, setting the bar for the rest of the week.
